Textile Education
Before getting into Textile education let us have short and brief history of textile.
Textiles are most significant mean which influences for the studies due to existence or prevalence everywhere. Textiles plays major role in day-to-day life. Unlike stone, clay it was made from the material which is capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other biological means. Basically, there are three main materials and some sub-materials in textiles. Main materials include Cotton, silk and wool and sub-materials includes baste, garments and leaf fibers. Initially the process of spinning the fiber into yarn and then into fabrics is called as weaving. The tools and equipment used for manufacture of textiles out of these materials were mainly made of biodegradable materials. Very shattered nature of textiles keep within limits to revise the textile manufacture technology. Apart from this, any evidence of terracotta vessels used for dyeing, washing etc. may also provide useful linkages to study the earlier textile related technologies.
